Price Referencing

 It is the aim of the OCPO to ultimately minimise procurement-related corruption in government while, at the same time, rendering the system of supply-chain management in government more accessible and innovative.  

Amongst the first initiatives of the OCPO will be to enhance the existing system of price referencing, in order to set fair value prices for certain goods and services. We will also pilot procurement transformation programmes in the Departments of Health and Public Works, nationally and in the provinces. Once successful, a broader rollout of these programmes will be led by the OCPO.
